Janoschka Group, DCM Group and Water Ink Technologies have recently joint forces in a business cooperation to run a common project focusing on innovative solutions as to future rotogravure press concepts applying light weight printing tools and environmental friendly printing inks.

Simplicity, cost reduction, environmental issues, and consistency are the main incorporated approaches describing the project content and target.

As an innovative market player Janoschka Group had successfully developed its product Cylight® back in 2004 already part of many printer’s daily business since then. Cylight® is a light weight base solution for rotogravure printing cylinders ensuring a weight reduction of 30% - 50% (depending on cylinder size) compared to traditional steel bases. The yearly production has developed to currently 9 000 cylinders.
