The white challenge

 

Printing proofs for customer’s approval is daily work in pre-press packaging business. The advancement of the proofer technology in the past years is amazing. However limits were always reached when it came to printing materials like transparent or aluminium foil in combination with white.

Epson’s latest development, the 7900 WT proofer, is able to fulfil this demand. To make it perfect the transparent foil adapted to the proofer’s features is also supplied by Epson. Colour and white are proofed together in one single print run.

The easy implementation of the GMG colour management software promises the printer to become a blockbuster. Janoschka is among a few chosen test user for the next 2 – 3 months. Epson 7900 WT will be launched on the market in January 2010.
