‘Image-to-Print’ again in South-East Asia

 

The roadshow “image-to-print” initiated last year by Sun Chemical, Windmöller & Hölscher and Janoschka has recently again stopped in South-East Asia.

More than 100 guests from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India and Pakistan participated in the event beginning of March in Bangkok. Market trends, strategies and latest technical developments as to printing inks, forms and machines for rotogravure printing were presented and discussed. The efficiency and performance of rotogravure printing were proven in step with actual practice at the Heliostar® GS printing machine on site the Thai printer TPN Foodpak. The common boat trip on the Chaophraya River at night was very pleasant and offered fair room for the personal interchange and networking.

“Image-to-Print” is keen to support local printers and converters and aims that the provision of the workshop will provide an insight to gravure printing best practice and future developments and will support local market needs.
