SWG and abc packmedia partner up

 

The German Janoschka Group subsidiary Sächsische Walzengravur and abc packmedia, based in Hamburg, have closed a cooperation for common activities on the rotogravure printing tool market. The founded joint venture operation is called Nordgravuren GmbH based at SWG site in Frankenberg, Germany.

So far restricted to graphical services and flexo and offset printing forms, abc packmedia's approach focuses on the enlargement of their product portfolio including rotogravure printing forms to underline their market performance as full service provider. To meet the needed production capacity at SWG, where the Nordgravuren orders for printing forms will be handled, an expansion of SWG’s new automatic line is planned.

Business scope of Nordgravuren will be the sales and manufacturing of rotogravure cylinders.

General management of nordgravuren will represent both partners.
